Richard Cardillo is General Counsel of Moontower. Prior to joining Moontower, Richard was a partner at DLA Piper, where he practiced in the firm’s Investment Funds group. While at DLA Piper, Richard also served as a faculty member for the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA), where he taught classes on the private equity industry. Prior to DLA Piper, Richard was a partner at Jackson Walker LLP. 

Richard began his legal career in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.  

Richard received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School and a B.B.A. from the College of William & Mary.
